Letter/Extract 16

DW to Thomas Poole: Sockburn July 4th, 1799.

We are yet quite undetermined where we shall reside – we have no house in view at present. It is William's wish to be near a good library, and if possible in a pleasant country. If you hear of any place in your neighbourhood that will be likely to suit us we shall be much obliged to you if you will take the trouble of writing to us. (EY , 266).
