My dear Aunt,

I am afraid that you will think I have been very negligent in not writing to you before this time, but I really now have a good excuse for not writing, as I have so much more to do than when I was at home.

Mary Calvert came the Saturday before last, and a Miss Steward came a few days after, so their are now six of us. We have a great deal of fun when we say our lessons, for their are eight of us in a class, and it is such fun taking one anothers places. In a Month
