She gives news of her family, e.g. that her brother William Wordsworth (1770-1850), his wife Mary Wordsworth (1770-1859) and their daughter Dora Wordsworth (1804-1847) have been on a tour of Wales. Also she writes that her nephew William Wordsworth (1810-1883) attends Hartley Coleridge's (1796-1849) school. She also writes that the Wordsworths' friend Thomas Monkhouse is very ill.
