Dorothy Wordsworth (1771-1855)
ms, prose

Note by Dorothy Wordsworth in pencil at the end of the notebook. First line 'The end of Mary Watson herself was more tragical'. This corresponds with the end of the narrative about the Greens when Dorothy talks about the death of William Watson. Mary Watson was murdered by her 'maniac' son in 1813 so Dorothy added this note much later than the original narrative.
