'Lines written (rather say begun) on the morning of Sunday April 6th, the third approach of Spring-time since my illness began. It was a morning of surpassed beauty' by Dorothy Wordsworth in her hand. First line 'The worship of this Sabbath morning'. Leaves 47r and 47v, two verses have been rewritten on pieces of paper that are pasted over the original versions. Two more versions of the poem appear on leaves 48r and 48v. Two inserts also appear here with versions of this same poem on them. Leaf 48r has the title and first two lines on it. 'On a most beautiful Sunday Morning - April 1824' is written with one version and 'Rydal Mount April 28th 1849 - To Mr Graham' with another.
