Dorothy Wordsworth (1771-1855) ms, verse Wordsworth, Dorothy (1771-1855) and Wordsworth, Mary (1770-1859) (written at Dorothy's diction by Mary, signed by Dorothy). - Verse, entitled 'To my Niece Dora', dated May 1832. - Leaves 22r-v. - First line 'Confiding hopes of youthful hearts,'. Written during a time of improvement after a period of poor health. Dated 'January 1827' in Mary's hand. This wrong date is cancelled out by a note underneath by Dorothy, 'Composed in May 1832 by me DW'.
