Dorothy Wordsworth (1771-1855) ms, letter Wordsworth, Dorothy. - Letter, from Rydal Mount, to Miss Laing, South-bridge Street, Edinburgh, dated 21 January 1828. - 2 typed copies (4 sheets each). - She writes about Dora's health, who is doing well, but is not to return to the Lakes, 'our variable and moist climate' until spring or summer, 'It is solely her liability to coughs and colds which now keeps us anxious.' William Wordsworth junior too 'has lost all sickliness of appearance'. Joanna Hutchinson is still lame, after her accident, but doing well. - We do not have the original, now in the possession of the Library of the University of Edinburgh.
